Rock legends Dokken confirm that a new album is in the works and set to release in 2012, with a tour surely to follow. Our friends at HardRockNights had this to say:
DOKKEN plans to finish their new recording by the end of February and go out on the road in june. « In a perfect world we would like to release the new album before the summer and then play the festivals in Europe. Then hopefully we can jump on a package tour in the US, » tells Don Dokken. « We want to give everyone a great CD that will keep all music fans Rokkin’ during these troubled times !»

What happended to their official website? I looked on different search engines and can’t find it. I hope they revive the site soon with updates. Can’t wait to hear the new music since Don had his surgery on his throat. Sure would be great to hear his voice belt out the sound he had in the eighties and nineties.
Don’s voice on stage is slightly better than it was a year-year and 1/2 ago. .. I will buy the CD.
