According to the Vancouver Sun a Wisconsin man, who is currently incarcerated and facing possible charges pending further investigation, requested a Megadeth song during a terror threat via internet radio.
The report states that Appleton, Wisconsin police and the FBI arrested and investigated David J. Lefever after he left this message in the chatroom for The MeltDown Show on HardRockRadioLive: “Watch_The_National_new_tomorrow_I_am_going_to_go_a_shooting_spree_in_Appleton_WI.”
Lefever then requested Megadeth’s “Killing is my Business…and Business is Good” and said the track would be “good music to go postal & kill a bunch of people to.”
The shows hosts Trevor Fenton and Pat Ryan played the song to keep the man online while contacting authorities. “We had to take that threat seriously,” Ryan told the Vancouver Sun. “We couldn’t ignore him. It could have been a prank. But if he was serious and something happened, I wouldn’t have been able to live with myself.”

I’m sure it was only a joke. The problem with people is they are so paranoid, That you can’t even make a joke anymore. Anyone can write a song about going out on a shooting spree or a rapper can sing about killing a cop. But when a regular person who this person use to also work @ a couple radio stations himself, Just becuse the pigs in Appleton, WI, & the Mayor don’t like him over an e mail he sent him over 10 years ago, They made a big thing out of it. David J Lefever does have moood swings but he would not hurt a fly. He grived real hard when his best friend who was Bleachey his cat died. He has been through a lot by his Wife losing his kids after they seperated, Then on top of it all she died of cancer in 2003. They terminated his perantal rights becuse they said he done nothing to try to get appriperate housing for them, Which he did & all he got was the run around. All they wanted to know what medication he was on & what he’s mental illness was. He never owned a gun in his life. If he had he would not of shot anybody eles but I do beleive he would of shot himself. I know the joke went too far & he knows it too now. He’s a Christian who prays everynight that Christ would come again. It’s Christ job to go postal but in a beutiful way. There are a lot of antichrist in this world. Lots of cops, politians, who are only dictaters. The Police are the biggest gang that exist. So D Man struck a nerve. Now they want to take more rights from him. As far as the 1st Amendment, It does not exist. If I had the constition in my hand right now I would wipe my ass with it.
