Ben Folds Five recently announced that they will be releasing their still-to-be-titled fourth studio album later this year. The band used Pledge Music — a platform that allows fans to contribute money in exchange for exclusive offers from bands — to fund the new record. For instance, the label-less Five are offering their dedicated fans different media bundles in advance of the record’s release. Pledge Music certainly proved useful for the guys. Less than 24 hours after their recent announcement, Ben Folds Five had reached 100 percent of their goal.
